Mr. Aleem J.D. is an accomplished attorney and graduate of Harvard Law School. He founded Joseph, Aleem & Slowik, LLC and is also a member of the Aleem Law Firm. Mr. Aleem has authored numerous legal works, including Small Law Big Success (Edward Elgar Publishing) and Aleem’s Guide to Healthcare Compliance (Forthcoming, Edward Elgar Publishing). Mr. Aleem is a guest lecturer at Emory Law School where he mentors student externs. Mr. Aleem previously worked at the international law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. During law school, Mr. Aleem was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and President of the National Muslim Law Students Association.
The Center for Race and Gender (CRG) is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of California Berkeley that fosters explorations of race and gender and their intersections. Specifically, they facilitate on-going research projects through hosting working groups and cutting edge projects, such as the Islamophobia Research & Documentation Project.
